i might try and remake it just with two big ones and one tiny reverse light plus this time ill recess them

This is somthing that i made up for my ute. I machined up the outer rings from ally, the lenses are optical lenses, and i used stainless steel cocktail dishes for the reflector.

what did you do about your reverse lights

you could also put a small light beside the numberplate or around that region and hook it up as a reverse light
most people wouldnt even notice it till it lit up

personally i reckon some stock tailights blacked out a bit would look much better. if you do go down the custom way they should at least sit close to flush with the body but it's your car.

yeah i was just going to use the tail lights of another vehicle and then cut the plastic to th e right shape, or i might pinch a few hundred leds (maybe not that many) from work and use them

my opinion.... leave the standard tailights.

Try to smooth them off a bit. Just so they dont stick out too far. Well done on being different .

Your Idea looks similar to some of the other custom lights out there (like the altezza brand stuff) so there might even be something out there that with minor modification will fit.

hmmm lots of bog

I'm a fan of shiny new Nissan tail lights on utes, but each to their own.

yeah tyrie your right it does have heaps of bog this was justa test one to get the basic shape it cam from all of cuts. i felt that because its removalbe i could use as much bog as i wanted. the rest of the car hasnt seen that much bog for the whole car, lol

i think they actually look pretty cool and should look killa when finihsed. but you gotta make them so the circles dont stick out as far. other than that they look the goods
