its actually a fair bit shorter than my last datsun ute, I can park it in the shed and park another car behind it sideways.

These things actually look pretty good when painted & straight & I don't mind them at all.

They were sold new as a pickup, a cab-chassis, a flatbed, or with a special body, but NEVER as a ute. The ute version has a one piece body from door opening to tailgate, just like the B20 & B120 that we all know & love.

Oz got so many cool vehicles surprised they didn't get a ute version. The "Pickup" was sold in Japan & USA as the 320 Sports

You sure have an assortment of commercial vehicles at your place. You sold a ute, purchased a flatbed light truck & parked it next to a double cab pickup truck. Any others?

I posted one up for sale on here a while back for $500, including a reconditioned J13 ready to fit, and no one wanted it! Took it to the crushers in the end.

Nice looking ute! The wood tray looks great.
