I had a pretty average day today, took nearly 3 seconds off my old time on the first timed lap of the day, which was after 11.30 , then blew my el-cheapo headgasket on the second run .
I ended up with a best time of 1.29.30. Chris was into the 1.25's and looking good for another class win.

Good to see the times coming down - well done! 11.30 before your first run sucks .... what's the story? Even NSWRRC can't be that disorganised
Lesson learned with the head gasket though! I won't touch cheapies and have become a fanatic with cleanliness & hylomar
Hope to get to a hillclimb this year to catch up.

Apparently there was a bit of a downpour last night and some of the track was covered in mud. Plus a part of the bank behind the tyrewall at the entry to the last turn had collapsed, causing the tyrewall to fall over. They had to get that fixed before we could run. Plus the fact that there were more entries than i'd ever seen before, I would've been lucky to get 4 runs in if everything had held together.

Might have a spray with the hylomar also when I chuck the head back on.
