Re: Dual Downdraft Webers This is an A15 engine with a big cam. Ernie runs the 1/8 mile, I forget the time but it is equivalent to a 15.7 second 1/4.
It sounds a treat at 8000 RPM. Very nice smooth wail when he raps the throttle.

Re: Dual Downdraft Webers WTF????
I have heard that you can get twin down draughts but never actually seen them, Are these a factory item? or are they custom?
I'll bet that they sound awesome at full throttle!

Re: Dual Downdraft Webers Thanks for the photos. 35HP Shot of Nitrous gives it an extra boost!
I run a 1987 Mustang with a 347 Stroker and a Paxton Supercharger at the track as well but the 1200 is funner to drive and the crowd loves it! I've left the mustang at home the last two races and most likely will run the Datsun all summer.

Re: Dual Downdraft Webers Looks pretty smufrin sweet. I wonder how this carb set up would respond to turbo or supercharger?

Re: Dual Downdraft Webers You would never turbo these unless you dont mind pulling them apart a million times as you jet them.

Re: Dual Downdraft Webers he posted a pic the other day that shows the addition of a supercharger set up running with this carby set-up. I agree, it would be a pain in the ass to get running properly but once it was running it would be like driving a freaking hurricane!

Re: Dual Downdraft Webers I think twin 32/36 are great for NA but with a supercharger a single 2 inch su would put out the same result.
I can only imagine 2 x twin 38mm on such a manifold.
