Datsun 1000s were never sold in the US. But they were in Canada.

Whilst all other B10 models were made in both right & left drive, the Coupe [KB10] was made in right drive only.

The Coupe was made for about 15 months [Sept '68 untill Dec '69] & seems to have only ever been sold in Japan & Australia although a few may have found their way into NZ & perhaps a couple of other countries.

I know you've said before but which do you have dodgeman? By the way like the avatar... the more I look at 'em the more I want one (1000 coupe).

I have a 1970 Datsun 1000 coupe, as well as my '33 Dodge 3 window coupe & the remains of three '32 Dodges. [2 Sedans & 1 coupe.]

The 1000 coupe is much rarer globaly than most of us think. Australia lapped them up, but the only other mainstream market seems to have been Japan. I have wanted one of these for about 22 years.
1200's are very good, but their popularity means that they are more common than the 1000's & i like the relative rarity of the KB10 & I also like the 1000 model's double wishbone front suspension.

P.S. Wakefield Park, where the photo was taken, is only about 45 miles from here & i drove past it today on my way home from work. It's a nice track.

I know its an old thread but this is such a great looking car, I am surprised we dont see more KB10s on the racetrack.

the mags are 14X6 performance bathurst style mags.i've still got a set in the shed.they have two different offsets,rear wheel drive for the front & front wheel drive offset for the rear.this was because the 1000 is about 4 inches narrower than the 1200,& the car had a 1200 ute diff housing.

hehe, thats the same story and same mag as my road car, cause it has a vanette h190 diff
