FS5W60L is up to July 1979 & FS5w60A from August 79 in the B310.
According to the parts fiche the
60L is a dog leg and the 60A is conventional shift with 5th and reverse in the same plane. I believe the american B210 dog leg is a FS5W60L box that was continued into the 310 in the sunny 310. This 60L box was superceded by the FS5W60A box, to replace the non conventional dogleg shift pattern.
The FS5W63A box is the same basic internals as used in the 610SSS, 810SSS and A10 SSS boxes. These were fitted with L18, L20B and L16 engines respectively.
This gearbox was given an "A" series bell housing and a different input shaft to allow it to be run behind an A15.
These parts do not fit any A series box.I still havent found any documentation showing the model the A series type 63A box comes from????? I have been told it was used in some heavy japanese people mover/commercials
The clutch plate used is the same as Lseries 8 inch with the smaller A series centre.
I use an A10 model 63A box behing my Lseries in my sunny coupe race car. Shouldnt be a problem behind a 200 hp A series I guess
