my new 180mm heavy duty exedy clutch for the turbo a-series. now we can see how she goes down the quarter...previously i could only get 15s with the stock clutch hope for 14s now maybe even better

i'm guessing thats it an old gearbox shaft used to align the clutch,

has it been oxy'ed or is it snapped?

use this in my car. works fine, even clutch kicking it around corners. after 12 months of use it still looked new when i pulled it apart. my gearbox is a little notchy now after 150bhp. once the build is finished i will limit it to 180bhp and see how the stock box likes that.

if that wont do the job you can get a button clutch to suit for under 300

i chose not to go button as this is my daily driver, button clutchs would wear out way to fast when used as a daily

Don't replace it yet. Use it until it breaks.I am curious how long a 56a will last with turbo A12 power.

 Re: heavy duty exedy
This is the same clutch that I am planing on using for my turboed A15. From the research that I did, the exedy unit would do the job well.

You should have no problems. If all else fails, you can get the flywheel drilled for a 200mm clutch, which is what i should have done when I had my flywheel made up. Ah well...
