 Re: Ram Induction A series
Hey there's a picture of my old Honeybee A14. I was too cheap to buy twin side drafts back then [around 1987] so I built this intake. It did not run as fast as it looked, unless the nitrous was turned on. My guess was the plenum was too big. Yes that is NOS plumbed into the plenum. My B210 turned a 14.06 @ 96.9 in the quarter mile. This was on regular street tires, open standard 3.70 diff and four speed.

Little gain? A stock B210 did what, a 20-second quarter mile?

He went from slow to whoa! with a little A14. I'm impressed.

I think it also gets over the problem with the brake and clutch master cylinders being in the way on LHD cars.

I'd personally go with twin downdrafts if you go to this much trouble.

This was undoubtedly inspired by the drag-racing "tunnel ram" manifolds for Chevy, Ford and Chrysler V8s. It's one way to get tuned runners (if you don't need to worry about height).
