o and thanks for the compliments, makes me alot happier when people say good things about the shlt loads of time consuming work ive had to do.

 Re: engine and gearbox fitted Mines been in and out enough times that the whole operation takes 45mins and no assistance required....I imagine you might want it out to get rid of some of these pesky water hoses - depending on if you plan to keep them I suppose.

 Re: engine and gearbox fitted well its going to be alot tidier once i switch the head and intake over to the ported and polished one i have, it just needs to be put back together with some nice new double valve springs. ill be running a new fuel rail aswell. the new intake has the butterflys taken out which will un clutter it a little

 Re: engine and gearbox fitted have you replaced or considered replacing all the hard to get at hoses around the rear of the engine before putting it in?
could be very dissapointing of you had to remove engine to repair a pesky water leak etc
something to think about, which ive seen the CA guru's of this site mention previously..
