Well done with getting it all back together, and a reasonable result too.

The boost seems to peak later than i would have thought?
Can you get a smaller exhaust housing for that turbo?
You would pick up a fair bit more torque 3500 to 4500rpm without hurting your power after this because the restrictor is allready causing the boost to drop of from 4500. so increasing the exhast back presure a bit with a smaller housing shouldnt effect HP much.

Edit: i did some calculations and peak torque (279ftlb) is at about 4600 rpm and 145ft lb at 3600 rpm.
Restricted 2lts usually make their peak torque between 3500 and 4000.
Thats why i wondered if a smaller exhaust housing was available.

It's a possibility, next step is to play with the adjustable cam gears, didn't get time today.....that should help move the power curve a little, and creat more torque earlier in the rev range.

 Re: SR20 Dyno Result
The same turbo on the FJ made peak torque at just over 3,000rpm. I think once we start playing with the cam timing we will be able to move the torque curve back down the rev range. It's a shame we wont have time to do it before this weekends race meeting ...... but it should still be a ball of fun to drive!

Keeping it in a straight line might be the biggest challenge! I have an 18 lap final at Oran Park GP circuit on Sunday afternoon..... I normally have fried tyres by half that distance, so it will be a challenge.

Edit : The other thing is that the engine runs 10.5:1 Static Compression which makes it VERY responsive. Even when it's not making fullboost it responds very quckly to throttle input.

It was interesting watching the tuner yesterday as he was testing it lower to mid range. Simulating corner exit by stabbing the throttle.....It reacted much quicker than the old motor.

Can't wait to drive it.

Good luck this weekend, It might not be quite so hard on tires with less weight over the front

If you dont mind me asking what air/fuel ratio are you running? do you have a graph of this?

I don't have the graph, but it was around 11.5.
