They will fit just fine. plenty of space untill they get to the brake master.

GX-5 used hitachi sidedraughts, same as any old Datsun 1200 GX.

will it be difficult to install sidedraughts in a LHD b310(210) or will there be clearance issues??

unknown. They won't fit a Left-hand-drive B210 or B110. The B310 is about two inches wider, but I would guess they will still hit the brake master cylinder.

LHD guys usually move the master cylinder inside.

Here are Mikuni Solex on my Datsun 1200:

Yes, DD those are some odd looking solex's, choke setup ids different. I think Bruce still has some intakes and at least one set of dual weber 40's.

twins are pretty easy to find,
Solex's aren't that common,
Weber's or Dellorto's are the most common,

or some brand new OER's...

Not difficult to find in USA. They are Mikuni Solex. If you search for Mikuni you will find them. Also, don't search for A-series, they are universal carburetors and fit any Weber-type sidedraft manifold.

The Mikunis here are unusual looking.
