Thanks dd Ill check which one it was.
I sorted this by mounting 2x7inch thermos side by side...a perfect fit!..but imm assuming mik was referring to my recently acquired 1k metal fan?

Yes I was picturing a coffee thermos for radiator overflow container. I just use a cola bottle myself

I'm pretty sure I got them off ebay, though it was a couple of years ago and couldnt find them in my purchase history, there's heaps on there tho.

The PCD of the mounts (diagonally) is roughly 220mm, have a look at them tomorrow if you like ;)\

DD the fan was the one on the right.

I wouldn't mount the fans through the core using the cable tie style of atttachment...although it will work for a while, the vibration of the fans will cause your rad core to leak.

try making a mount that spans from side to side and hang the fans off that.

I learnt the expensive/hard way.... put twin 10's thru my new custom 4 row and it failed fairly quickly.

Maybe not... there are two fans, with different offsets.
