A dark Navy Blue would be nice? Although dark colors tend to emphasize any dents on the car.

I was a bit worried that you might take offense. I'm glad to see you didn't.
I like the metallic idea too. Just don't go too far with the metal flake and have it look like a bass boat or a drum kit! Then again, that might be different enough to be cool.

What about the 2001/2002 Ford Focus "Twilight Blue Clearcoat Metallic"? It is an unusual shade; I think it looks very nice.

Is that the best first mod to be doing to your car? These metallic paint jobs can be pretty privey for a good job. Surely you don't want to be all show and no go?!

I said almost stock, the engine is 10:1 compression, KN filter. Special Four pole Spark Plugs, etc... . It does 6600 RPM on 4th gear with a estimate speed of 100-110 MPh. It is not so bad and i want to have a reliable car and keep it almost stock.

the color you have looks good to me, id keep the standard color just get it put on well ,spend the money saved on a set of 17 inch billett wheels and a lowering job. dont go crazy with wheel flairing and tint the windows lightly to bring out the colour and make it stand out. changing the colour even only slightly can be a bitch of a job (expensive ) because you have to pull everything apart (think of around the inside of windscreen under carpet pulling motor out to do the bay etc) many of these areas can be polished. i guess if you wanted a vairiation though, a nice pearl (like on some new cars , when you move around the car in sun ligh a hint of another color comes through)(maybe anothe shade of blue).... just my thought + I wanted to check out my avitar

What color did you decide on?

The car is now ready, i will post the photos ASAP. I painted it in a darker blue (BMW-santoriniblau) and it looks great. It went trough a massive cuting and welding, but i think that by now it will made it another 20 years.
