 Re: D1
I'm now convinced that all the Px10 series of cars were all known as Bluebirds in one market or another,... somewhere in the world at various times.

Some of the aftermarket airconditioning parts in my 200B [810] have the word Bluebird moulded in them, but this name was not used on this model in Australia.

Datsun sold cars in Australia under the name Bluebird in the early to mid 60's, then again from '81 with the 910 series, & yet again in the early or mid '90's with some ghastly POS that i dont even want to think about.

May the name rest in peace. After all, they have surely flogged it to death by now.

I really love the Bluebirds, they look a lot better than the standard 510 sedans, especially the rearend it's just cool.

Interesting tidbit I just discovered: these were called Datsun Bluebirds, not Nissan Blluebirds, even though Datsun was used more commonly in export countries. I believe Roadsters were also called Datsun Fairlady's too.

Does this person own this car? If so, let's have a write up on it.

Bluebird is the family name for all the compact-size Nissans in this family series: chassis 411, 510, 610, 810, 910, etc. Of course in different "markets" they had different names, like Maxima or 200B, etc.

Ah... these day bluebird had lower profile because it's same like sentra/sunny.. not using teena/cefiro body.. hope this 'lagend' will turn around hit the market next year like nissan do to their Fairlady... ZZZZZ.. wow...
