Could work if you had 8 or so jets spaced around the start of the inlet like shown, but I don't see why you would just put the fuel in to the inlet track of each port.

I think you'd need mechanical fuel injection to get tons of pressure.

This diagram looks like what most OEM injection system are: One air inlet, four ports, and one or two fuel injectors.

I wonder why the intake tracts are different sizes, does that compensate for the different diameter fuel feeds, and lack of injectors? I know woody is only 14 or 15, so I guess we shouldn't be bagging this too much.

I'd hate to be his teacher at school...he'd always be dreaming up engine parts in the back row, instead of listening.

I know where i've seen a plenum like that b4...on a car with no name made in a country that doesnt exist anymore...farkn cylinders goin all over the place...4 and a half cylinder, 5 camshafts all not paralell to eachother, a few crankshafts, only 3 valves, 4 inlet ports and exhaust port, but looking at the inlet plenum the ports are all over the place...i think it's on gas aswell

Well at least Woody is trying, I personally wouldnt be too hastly to bag him out. I know he is only young but kids need as much encouragement as they can get even if their ideas are a little basic. He could be wasting his life by sitting in a laneway somewhere sniffing glue )-:
So at least he's having a go and trying to think about all things Datsun. Sorry for the rant but he's entitled to try as much as anyone else.
You never know in 20 or 30 years time he might be an A series guru and everyone will be asking him for info.
Thats just my opinion.

Or sitting in a pub in the township of Young, wasting his Datsun ute money on spirits, & jepoardising the publicans licence.
Oh,... wait a minuite,... he is /was. Oh well, if you're giong to screw things up, might as well start young.
At least the glue would be cheaper.
Good on you Woody
