Don't try this at home!

I sold this coupe to my insane brother in law in the mid 80's. This is 4th gear, and was repeated on more than 1 run on this narrow tarsealed road sprint in the Wairarapa. Won its class.

He eventually totalled it at the NZ hillclimb championships in Marlborough, but won his class on the same run by spinning backwards through the finish line before tearing the diff out over a ditch - the gearlever hole in the floor ended up oval.

Can't do that with today's cars - the suspension travel would set off the "ESP" traction control system like crazy!
