This engine has about 100,000 miles on it & has been out of service for about seven or eight years & stored [in car] in the open all that time. I was amazed at the lack of bore wear or rust when i removed the cylinder head this afternoon as it is obvious that any oil that was in the bores has been long gone.
This could be restored to service with a hone, & a ring & bearing freshen up, but it will instead be done right.

This is an early A12 with a 76.5mm bore.[stock is 73mm] They are first oversize A14 pistons & are just the ticket to perk up a tired A12.

Note the thickness of the custom made extractor flanges. Nice & thick to prevent warpage.
