Full frontal. Nothing special here, it looks prety much like the Falcon unit it was made from, but it does work.

Hey Dodgeman,
good pics. That Chris is a bit of a legend - there is no such thing as "can't" in his world !
I too have been a victim of the 'self dissassembling' A series motor and will be keen to follow this progress. Full marks for Aussie ingenuity - imagine what he could do with #8 fence wire

You're right, CP has taken after his father, who was a marine engineer. He takes a problem & devises a solution then continues to develop it till it's right.

Of course owning & operating a surprisingly well equiped engineering facility that is cleverly disguised as a hick country service station does help a bit. He now has his own dyno which is a big help at tune up time with his fuel injected racer[s]

Dodgeman,
finding it hard to stop laughing at the servo comment - you're dead right
I'll know I'm going okay if I can get anywhere near him at a supersprint lol.
Keep up the good work down there !
Cheers

A prety simple piece of engineering here, but it did demonstrate that there was a cure for the "flywheel coming loose" problem.

For those who haven't picked it. The pulley itself acts as the dampener ring. It is held to the hub by a flexible "rubber" ring
