Re: NZ KB10 - 1000 Coupe Most 1600's as well as all 1970 model Datsun 1000's shared the same blinker lens & body, but the wiring harness length & particulatly the electrical plug on the end differed.
When you see them on the car, they are the same, but there were three part numbers [or more] One for ther 1600, one for Datsun 1000 non-coupes, & one for the coupe.
The shorter blinker for the '69 KB10 coupe was diferent in the electrical plug from the '68 & '69 non-coupe blinker.
My Datsun 1000 parts book says that there were no coupes made for the '68 model year. but i believe that Sidedraught has a '68 Sunny sales brochure that shows the coupe. Veeeery interesting, but confusing. The Datsun KB10 [as distinct from the Sunny KB10] was made from September '68 which was the introduction date of the '69 "model"
2332owner Can you confirm the introduction date of the Sunny KB10 from your Sunny parts book?

Re: NZ KB10 - 1000 Coupe There have been a few subtle changes along the way. Those park/blinker lights look like 1200 items & the grille looks from here to be a '68 Datsun 1000 piece.
It looks to me that the time has been well spent. More power to you my friend.

Re: NZ KB10 - 1000 Coupe This looks kick arse... I like it... Are they 1600 blinkers? Very smooth.

Re: NZ KB10 - 1000 Coupe No those are stock 70 coupe blinkers. My coupes got one of them on one side and a shorter, 69 coupe blinker on the other.
This coupe is part of my inspiration and is beautifully done. I like the color... mine will probably end up some sort of red as well.

Re: NZ KB10 - 1000 Coupe I hope mine will look this good someday...
It does look kinda weird without the chrome surrounds around the headlights?
Do you have any?
