wow! I just had a bit of a look through the pics on your site. the overall quality of work on the conversion is awesome, and the bodywork is spectacular! Love the colour too. Top stuff Chris.

Good to see a CA conversion on a sedan. Everyone mainly does it to utes. I love utes but everyman and his dog has a ca18 datsun 1200 ute.

Colour looks good too. Not too bright.

 Re: August 2004
I'm aiming for a balanced everything.

25% show car
40% street cruiser
15% circuit racer
20% drag racer

It'll look better when it's moving under it's own steam.

I don't think it's moved under it's own power since about 1982. Bought as a rolling shell, it's a 3rd owner project car. 2 people failed to build it before me.

I'll be running 15x6 (195/45/15) and 15x7 (205/45/15). These fit under rolled lip guards. I've decided to maintain the look and use the dragway pros. I'm getting them refaced/polished and putting stepped chromed 15inch rims onto the existing centres. I might get more expensive wheels later on. But I think it looks good with the dragway pros, except they never were quite the right offset. So putting new rims on them and going from 14inch to 15inch is a good idea.

Cheers,
Chris

Thats really clean, but you gotta take bigger pictures so we can rob all your good ideas. Can't see 'em in little pictures.

Another month? Unfortunately no..I'm on holidays overseas for the next month, so that's out

While on holidays, I'll be spending as little money as possible to make sure I can afford to get it done before Christmas.

BRmm BRmm..

Dodgeman, plenty of photos on my website at www.shoeys.com Gallery
