 Re: Rims
I like the chrome and the studs around the outside and the spokes, it's just the centre cap that's putting me off. Size choice is also good, I personally think 17's are too tall. I have seen a 1600 with those rims on and the wheels didn't really suit. But it's up to you. I think they will be okay, but they won't really really strike people as "Amazing".
I don't want to sound critical though, cause I've got new wheels sitting there waiting to go on and I'm not sure how they will look either. Wheels choice is very hard and very critical, so it's hard to get it right.
cheers,
stu.

They are sick....buy em.....

Rims make a car no matter how much work you have done......

Trust me l've done every body mod l could think of, yet the rims still make a massive difference.

They'd be my first choice!!

If everyone is using these rims, then it must be for a good reason.
If you like them, & if they fit & work, then go for it, you will be in good company.

 Re: Rims
These are a very modern design for later or even 80s boxy cars like s1 skylines and bluebirds but no reason why it shouldnt go on an earlier car like a 1200 if you can get part of the rim to suit the rest of the paint job or dressing. With so much chrome they usually stand out more than the car but by balancing the chrome with another color or tone will add to the overall look rather than just stand out like a baaboons butt on mating season. Thats unless your monkey mamma digs your loud butt.

 Re: Rims
they would look nice... but i dunno about the chrome...

i personally would like people to say when they see my ute..

"wow look at that datto ute"

not

"wow look at those rims!"

 Re: Rims
At the same time you dont want them to think hey nice ute, needs some nice rims. Or shame about the wheels. Sometimes the wheels make the car, sometimes the car makes the rims.....
I've seen a few cars with rims I dont like that look good... 1200 utes can even make the owner look good, not just rims.

Look at that 1200 ute
"See how sideways it was"
"nah I missed it"
"YAJOKN"!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They look similar to the mags on YAJOKN's ute so they will look real nice (well that's what I think anyway.
