 Re: Sunny from the museum
This is a 1967 Datsun Sunny 1000. Its the DeLuxe model as evidenced by the bumper bar 'over riders' & the DeLuxe badge on the side of the guard below the Sunny name. It does not have the chrome trim along the top of the front guards & doors like the '68 & later DeLuxe models did.

The little round blinkers were carried into the earliest of '68 models, but are not a true '68 model item & I think that they were just using up surplus stock.
The headlight rims are also unique to this model & the new style of headlight rim that was introduced for '68 was carried right through to the end. The grill & headlight rims are part of a set & mixing & matching with later parts is not really an option.

This one has the factory option [for Japan] external mirrors & in Arctic White, its a beautifull example of one of the cars that helped put Datsun on the world stage.
Only two door Sedans & Vans were made in this year.

This one is probably a JDM car on display in the home islands as it is right drive. Okinawa, i believe, was left drive at this time & cars for this market were so constructed.
