i found more black and white photos today at Eastern Creek. i dont know the name of the driver, just that this was taken somewhere in NSW, AU. this is a digital photo of an old original image.

the drivers name is probably mike quinn,& the car probably has a 12a mazda rotary.the photo was taken at amaroo park,come down from mazda house corner to honda corner.the eh
is being driven by john bourke,& some of the cars in the background look like some of the
quicker cars.could have been a handicap race,but given that it's bucketing down,it
might be he doesn't have to slow down as much.

I think you might be right, it was blue and white and was bloody fast in it's day. I have some colour photos of it somewhere. It used to give the V8 Sports Sedans the screamin shyts with it's speed and great handling.

Very nice ...That would have to be one of the best coupe styled 120 y i have seen
for a while ...definatly an insperation for B 210 drivers....

you no you history paul......And for memory rodgers was in that torry!!
I use to live right next door to the track in my younger days, loved the noise and smell,...
i think George furry was testing the bluebird turbo back then in 1981,
Theres alot of spills on the bottem two corners,...
now theres quiet alot of homes built around it
