um...what are you trying to get at with that comment...what it's saying makes perfect sense
...the way it works is like stock blow off valves...for example of ones on the GSR mitsu lancers...it vents the aire back to in front of the compressor

Well um excuse me what is it you are actually trying to get at yourself mate?
If you used all of that grey matter in your head, you would note that I posted this picture and also stated that it's " for purposes of a forum topic"
Now if you did a little research before you posted your comment you would see what I actually was stating and refering too!

I think it's fair question. Which turbo discussion from the Forums is this answering?

If I understand correctly, some BOVs vent directly to the atmosphere ... no good for pull-through systems as it would vent unburned fuel. Additionly, mass-airflow (MAF) EFI systems like it vented back into the inlet, hence the main purpose of this type.
