A pair of Nismo H190 LSD's.... 4.875 and 4.11. The 4.875 is basically brand new, the only work it has done is on the dyno....one time! Just enough work to wear the paint markings off that were there from the factory (on the gears)

mark,i reckon a competent diff place could do just this.i was thinking you'd probably get more use out of the 4.1 than the 4.9,obviously
so are you.try getting the h190 out of an auto
s12 gazelle, they're a 3.89.1 ratio, the manual gazelles are a 3.7:1,for eastern creek.just see if they can swap the clutch pack into the gazelle
centre.are they alloy housings?.

Do the gazelle's use a 27 spline axle? Does this even matter? Yes they are alloy housings. My axles are 27 spline numbers, so Would I be able to put the crown wheel and pinnion from the S12 diffs into my carriers?

I have not spent a lot of time on diffs....please educate me.

No chance Craig......if I don't use it now, you never know what might happen in the future....and the chance of finding another one of these ....is pretty remote!

It would probably be perfect hillclimbs, so I'll hang on to it

Rare as rocking horse poo !!! the 4.8 would be perfect for hillclimbing. 4.11 should be ok with most tracks.
I searched hi and low for a LSD for my h190 the main difference being mine has the 29 spline. I have a 3.9 4.11 4.3 4.625 and 4.8 only the 4.6 is alloy the rest are cast from 720's and early navara. Crownwheel and pinions are not interchangable between the alloy and cast centres the pinion is smaller and aslo the pinion offsets are different

Thanks dude.....I better just hope then that the 4.11 is tall enough for Eastern Creek....other wise I am in trouble.

What other cars/commercials had the 27 spline? I may need to get an open centre and lock it up as a back up for Eastern Creek.

don't quote or hold me to this as diffs are well beyond me ..... the front diff centre from MQ/GQ patrols seems to ring a bell as being useful .... only cant remember if it was for L series stuff

Not to imply somebody wouldn't pay this price, but for that sort of dosh, wouldn't it be more prudent to use the LSD diff/axle from another car? Unless something in the rules said the axle had to come off a Nissan product.

Well, I've seen used ones go for $1,500....so I reckon $1,800 for a new one is about the right money.
