 Re: Underwear First it was etch primed, then one coat of grey primer. This is being rubbed out before a second coat of primer goes on, then into the spray booth. It will likely have some colour on it by the time the Dat Nationals roll around.

Re: Underwear coming along nicely then. hope you don't have to do the sanding - that's a tedious job if ever there was one.

Re: Underwear I know how tedious it is as i have done it before. This is a professional job done by a semi retired man who owns the panel shop outright & works at his own pace, just the way i like it.
I don't quibble about the costs either, i just keep a steady trickle of money flowing & he keeps a steady trickle of work on it.
It isn't cheap, but it IS being done the way i want it.
It will be painted "Pale Grey" It's a Datsun colour.

Re: Underwear well you only get what you pay for... and sometimes not even that! It seems to be very hard to find good panelbeater/spraypainters, so don't let him fully retire!
something told me it would be an original Datsun colour. look forward to those pics!
