 Re: A new wrinkle The clutch arm on the 1200 & later gearboxes is in an inconvenient spot & most relieve the sheet metal by belting the bejesus out of it with a ball pein hammer.
The nice Doctor at the car hospital & i have a bit more respect for our Datsuns, & this one was "massaged" to provide clearance.
It needs a little more work to finish it, but you get the idea.
