I have never seen one on a car, but I think it is for the cast iron head not the alloy headed GT.

It says LYNX on the top so it is not an original Rootes part.

In the 10 years I have had it I have never seen another.

Maybe LYNX still have the moulds for it, if they did it wouldnt need much modifying to make it work for an A motor.
