After the dogleg, they were all on the anchors going into the last corner......then it was a drag race down the straight.....which the 1000 won.

did qik1000 get both of you on the straight??? I know its a long straight, but that 1000 must have some stick! This is a 1200 site - we can't be having 1000's beating us... we'll never hear the end of it! where was Andrew?

Yeah Yeah, its not good for 1200's to be outdone by 1000's. The 1000 is a fast little machine and the Carpenter brothers are good blokes and are there to have some fun [I guess at the expense of R-Fast and Myself].

The 1000 is packing a nice 1560cc something A-series and pulls rather hard. I had my own problems [engine] yesterday, buts thats no excuse. The power delivery just wasnt there.

R-Fast drove as hard as he possibly could on buffed down radials. From my prospective [following him around the track] I couldn't stop laughing to myself watching the "Yellow Bee" step out all over the place, under brakes, under acceleration and corners that tighten up. He did an awsome job hanging onto the beast.

Datman55,
Great pics! Love 'em. You wouldn't happen to have the two pics with the 3 dattos in a higher res would you?
Please email me if them if you can. File size is not a problem at my end.
When are you going to be the fourth datto in the picture???
Daniel.
