now All you need is an anti-roll, anti-squat, axle-tramp arrester...

So it stiffens the rear end up just by changing the leaf position. You some times see a leaf reversed for anti tramp where would you put this and what would it look like?
I'm gonna make some up on the weekend, need to get some new springs cos my drivers side has sagged over the 35years! go figure.

It appears that the second bottom leaf has been removed and placed on the top of the pack. (leaves are upside down in pic)

Simply remove the bolt thru the middle, swap positions, put bolt back in!

All I did was flip the second spring and put the long overload sping on the top, cost involved was paint and stiction plates.

I'll be interested to see how this turns out.

I've looked into this myself with opinions ranging from "Do it properly & get them reset" to "use lowering blocks as they won't affect your spring rates".

Can you keep us posted on the handling characteristics once you get them back in the ute pls?

They have been in the ute for over a year now, and they are very stiff and it tends to pick up the inside wheel on turns, it corners well and with an LSD it would be very good.
