B210 1977 model variety (north america) ddgonzal 2005/7/4 5:50 Tell a friend 3194 3 0.00 (0 votes)
Note that all B210s 1977 came with 3.7 gears (except autos with the usual 3.9)
All 5-speeds were the "big" 63-series trans. Perhaps Nissan used this one for the big overdrive -- the miser B210 model got 50mpg that year. |

Re: B210 1977 model variety (north america) How common, or rare, is the 3.54 to 1 diferential ratio in the H150 diff? I believe that these were used in the US 210 model [B310] I would dearly love to source one of these.

Re: B210 1977 model variety (north america) Yeah, I just put a U.S. model 5-speed in my 1200, It came from a 78 model B-210 GX. I had to spread the trans. mounts on the tunnel just to get it to go up in the tunnel. Very tight fit. On the diff I have two complete diffs from a 79 210, don't know what the ratio is though.

Re: B210 1977 model variety (north america) The 5-speeds are not rare here, but do take a little bit of looking. I found two 63s for sale locally last summer, and lots of 60s.
Dodgeman, I don't know how common the 3.5 ratios are, the B310 I have has 3.7 gears. But I'm hoping to get the data for each year ...
If anyone has the 1974-1982 books, please post a scan like the 1977 one pictured here.
