ahh so the weak 4 speed has higher ratios through 1st, 2nd and 3rd than the tough 5 speed I guess you can't have the best of both worlds unless you swap to a high ratio diff

have you seen that guy in QLD with that custom 13 speed gearbox, I'll love 2 get my hands on that. (13 forward and 3 reverse) I think he had it in a 1600 rally car.

I don't think that would be faster than a 5 speed box, almost 300% more time spent shifting would be like driving a truck
