It has awesome port area and flow for 1298 cc!!! Exhausts flow about 80% of the inlet ports as well surprisingly. I think it would work very well on an A14 - A15 cranked with 79mm bore
Cheers

Is it possible to go higher with the exhaust ports or are there other consequences like waterjackets.

Nice!

I have seen them higher, but you run into the spring platfroms. These need to get moved up and you need longer valves..Then the rockers have to be spaced up, then you make up duralumin pushrods with chevy ends on them
Then you move the mounting bolts for the manifold and move the whole damn manifold up too
It's all getting a bit silly about this time...

Thats it, time to mangle an old a12 head to see how far to go. Since Im getting a custom exhaust header Id like to do it. However my dream setup, I dont know the term (someone educate me) would b alloy tubes welded into the head to act as an inlet manifold too (ala peripheral port rotary) and same for exhausts.
