Here's a before and after shot of my 210 (B310) battery tray. I couldn't take any in process shots because I didn't have a camera. I basically sanded off all the paint, used POR-15's cleaner and Metal Ready prep (acid etch basically), painted with 3 coats of POR-15 and top coated with 2 coats of their Tie-Coat Primer. Rust shoudl not be a problem here again, but I wouldn't be surprised if after the repaint the acid peels off the new paint eventually. the POR-15 shoudl hold up to pretty much anything though. |
