VERY impressive.
Do you run any form of air filtration, or is that it?
It must sound awesome at full song & i'm guessing that there's an electric water pump just out of the picture somewhere.

Yes the large aluminium backplate is for a pipercross filter, trumpets fit inside just nicley. and yes i have another pic of the engine without head showing the ARP stud kit but in that photo you can see the davies craig water pump.

 Re: Latest Engine Pic
OK dyno result back, this setup gets only 1 hp more at top end compared with my old TPS setup. up to 105hp(wheels) corrected power at 7600rpm but between 3500-5500rpm it has lost 20% torque and 10% hp. me thinks that it is just to big (43mm). So i am after some webber chokes 32/34/36mm to try and get some power back if you have some to sell please let me know.

I will be very interested to see if you can get your midrange torque back to the same figures as the old TPI set up. I dont think you will but would like to be proved wrong.
I have seen this tried once before on a Z motor with single TB set up, once changed to multi TB's with the right choke size and many dollars spent, he lost 14% midrange and only had a 4 Kw increase at peak power.
Good luck with the developments and keep us posted. I like the quality of your work.

43mm is pretty big, that's about what the fj24 used to run on carbs...

im currently running 50mm holes on a 2100 twincam, andthey're too big..

Looks great. The trumpets look trick.

Just curious. Everytime you set the tappets do you have to take off the strut brace?
