i dont understand why people go with the stumpy gearbox with ca18 conversion my mate had one in his SSS 200b and broke it within 3 weeks from a 170hp L20b just imagine a ca18det with few mods, guess it could of been punished b4 he installed it... i just think it was easy enough 2 install the ca18 one im gona have attempt 2 install a rb20 one soon

the same internals are in the zcar 5spds and guys often run 200-300 horse without trouble

think it's more the drag racing or p driver karate shifting that smokes 'em

"Karate" shifting (I love the term) is not always restricted to P platers. I know a couple of seasoned old drivers who can't get out of the habit.

ahahah karate shifting thats awsome.. back 2 box strength my mate actually blew everybox street racing shifting second under boost was just 2 much for it plus it was in a heavier 200b, i was in the car twice when it happened and it was disapointed by them i have also heard a few others that have had same problem,
