went to wreckers today picked up the fork and bearing from a 200B sedan.

1 - 180B slave cylinder bolted on
2 - how clutch fork attaches to thrust bearing
3 - looking into bellhousing
4 - blank master cylinder plate from automatic L series car. handy for template when installing master cylinder into 1200 firewall.

Thanks for pic's Evilsim. I will buy the booster and slave clyinder new as its prob the best way.

But i am also wondering about the moounting part of the booster, i know its important to get that part right. will see how it goes.

What clutch are you going with?

did those links come with the thrust bearing on yours? did you get them from the wreckers to? will have to see cause i dont think i have that part on the thrust bearing. EDIT: Mine has the links to so i have also setup it up to see how it fits, and its great

booster? im not talking about brakes at all, just clutch master cylinder and slave for these 63a box's we have had bestowed upon us. I still dont use a brake booster although theres a lancer one in my garage for if i ever get rear discs.

mounting the master cylinder spot-on is very important. im going to get mine done at a gearbox specialist, I dont need something to go wrong! the reason i got the blank plate (pictured above) was to get get that hole right.

clutch i do not know. i called repco today and the guy told me theres 3 different clutches for a 180B. I was going to ask you what diameter your normal clutch disc is..???
im also awaiting on prices from Nissan in Waitara re the "rear extension dust cover with oil seal" and "clutch fork dust excluder". Also trying to get new bushes for my gearstick. "control lever bushing (bottom) and control pin bushing."

ill tell you how I go. infact, PM me your mobile and ill call you when im in nissan and order ya 2 of all the bits if you want. ive had to wait for lots of bits from Japan through nissan.. if you have time/patience you can find and order lots of stuff NEW from nissan in japan

the thrustbearing assembly and clutch fork seem to go in fine, and sort of sit in place. if the fork is pushed too far open, the thrust bearing comes off the shaft inside. it doesnt feel like its right yet.. i might be missing a spring or something, plz go into a bit of detail on how yours is setup inside there.. damn its lucky someone else has the same problems at the same time!
