I'm doing this very conversion now. Instead using the 4a-GZE engine, which is essentially a 4A-GE, it's just got stronger con-rods and pistons fitted as standard, thus more suited to turbo without much change. It fits a charm, and all up weight is very similar to original, so handling shouldn't suffer. Have a look at the pick I've posted for more info.

I'm currently looking at getting a 120Y with a 4agze, they're a good little donk, esp. with 20V head and big turbo

Did that used to be owned by the bloke who works at that exhaust place in Belconnen?
That was pretty well set up from what I remember...

I dunno, it now belongs to a guy at Craig Hall in Philip, Its got accident damage, but its been professionally fixed. I've gotta go have a closer look before making up my mind. Its cheap but not engineered...

maybe a 4-age looks more like a 4-afe off the 95 onwards bubble corollas dunno...if its a 4-age doesnt it look more flat up top??

It is indeed a 4age with turbo, the 4afe had a much narrower hear, bottom ends is the same, the 4age have more power as well, better to turbo aswell, flow is good in head

only looks flat ontop if the cover for the spark plugs is on i have a 4age myself im just selling it now
