Re: A14 EFI throttle body Yeah, this double tunnel job ain't good for much beyond a stock motor, but if you put a larger TB on there, you might consider opening up the inside of the entire manifold.

Re: A14 EFI throttle body Yeah no kidding, I have that TB, and those butterflies are TINY. Now, they are only letting air in, whereas a carb is air and fuel, but regardless this thing is too small. I did look on a Japanese website that claimed a stock rating of 90hp from the A14E (factory fuel injected) that this setup came from. That is higher than any other A series came with stock (in the US). So it must be good for something! You should see the TB I got to replace this one, and yes the manifold will HAVE to be opened up to suit it. It's from a 86 Stanza US spec(CA20 I believe), and is WAY bigger.

Re: A14 EFI throttle body Yeah it is a double butterly one unfortunately. The manifold is cast in a way that accomodates a long skinny/oval shaped TB. It can be opened up, but not enough to clear the way for a large single butterfly TB. It is way bigger though, when it gets here next week I'll see if I can get the pics up.
