1200 sedan wreck b310gx 2003/2/15 12:22 Tell a friend 2892 7 0.00 (0 votes)
this is why i needed to build the 1200 coupe.the car rolled twice at 130 kmh (80 mph) at huntley hillclimb in wollongong.it was bent in all three axis, but all the running gear was straight & went into the coupe.the rollover was caught on video. |

Re: 1200 sedan wreck no,it didn't have a cage, that was why i was running a sedan not a coupe, the b pillars were stronger.the replacement coupe did have a cage,i learnt that lesson.seriously,i only scratched my elbow in the crash.the only panel salvagable was the right front guard, which was about 2 weeks old at the time.oh,it was also my birthday,i still won my class,& beat john boston.

Not a pretty sight really. You have a video of the roll over? Is it online at all?

Re: 1200 sedan wreck Impressive damage.
Does the rollcage only support the driver side, or was the force sufficient to collapse the cage on the left side?
