Got it back the other week. A12, bored out .40 thou, flat tops pistons, 10.8:1 comp rato, diamond laped decked block and shaved head, ported, a15 inlet valves/mazda 1300 exhaust valves, double valve springs, adjustible timing gear, 34/72 cam, all new bearings, dual 40mm solex's and extractors.

yea looks like it say hitech on em..ive had a set of hitech headers and i will be happy if i never see them again very poor quality for a performance item.. i would rather the stock manifold over em..

They look like Pacemaker headers. I've got a set that look identical in the shed.

The extractors look like they have a hi tech badge on them. I bought hurricanes.

for a moment there it looked like a straight six engine! then I knew that datsun (nissan) did'nt make straight six's! then I had 2 correct myself again because i've got one in my datsun truck! 120HP at 3200rpm!

Got it all in and running the other day, now just gotta start tuning the carbys but still gotta great sound to the carbys.

Pity the adjustable timing gear is still hidden under the timing cover - means you have to crack the timing cover to effect some cam timing....or I am getting it all wrong?

Nah its not one of the full on fine tune ones, its just a rollmaster one with the nine adjustible keys in the crank sprocket.
