very cool! love those wing mirrors too! all you need now is a GX bonnet to compliment the grille! and maybe a SSS badge to sit next to the GX badge

now you've lifted the front so you can turn corners are you going to upgrade the pizza cutters

Hehe.. Yeah Boof I will upgrade them soon, but I cant go to bigger because it is still quite low. I will go back to 60series to fill the gaurd and probaly 175 or 185. I will also go bigger in the back 195 or 205 and do a subtle lip on rear. Alot more stuff to do before then like eng bay and different bottom end (1608cc) etc etc

 Re: New grille
Dan i blame you for suggesting to try it on,

I reaised because the car sits level and i have travel now... Can only go any lower with shortened struts, which will be one day soonish .. Im using stanza springs cut and heated flat (thanks sticks) to give more travel.

Hey lads got a new grille for the ute.. finally tried one on, didnt know it would look so much better until I saw it on

Thanks to Freak for giving it up after some beging and tears ...got a good dato swap going

The ute has had new longer springs put in to raise it to drivable hieght and level the ute out

That grille is a HUGE improvement. Lookin good. You seem to have the right balance of shiney & painted bits.
Who said that regular 1200 grilles didn't look the part & I'm glad that you kept the center badge. I think that they look sort of, ... well, .. off, without it.

Mate your car is looking great, with the new bottom end and the painted bay it will be awsome too say the least, not much to do in terms of improvement after the engine build.
