gday ladies and gentlemen

finaly in another datsun, here is what i got, previously forsale by greendog.

http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/v ... 43&forum=2&post_id=364185

needs a little bit of body work here and there, not exactly my strong point but shes a daily and runs well for a stocko 1200,

thinking of building a warm a14, just the usual standard bottom end with a nice cam, 32/36 webber and exhaust system. but for now im happy with the 1200 (maybe for a month)

all that is needed is a late ute cross member for this conversion correct?

cheers and happy datsuning.

i think cyclons8 is onto something.
There is a pretty good washing bay with high pressure at warrawong, around the corner from fantastic furniture i think.
Or on the princess in albion park

ok guys
i still have for sale a near rebuilt condition 60 series (standards shift) 5 speed .. was rebuilt and then used for a very short time behind stock a12 with new clutch cable

shifts nicely and no clunks, leaks or rattles

the going price is $800
im pretty sure everyone knows this is a good buy
tax time special need it gone.

if you want pictures i can put some up, it looks like a gearbox

im in NSW Aus. near wollongong will deliver 100km from home
use whereis.com.au or google maps to calculate distance

thanks
Jason

Gday

my sister was virtualy given a 1995 sb barina innearly perfect condition,
BUT it has a small issue with cold starts
it starts good after we cleaned the rotor cap and button (elec dizzy)
but idles a bit rough and will only just take off with very light acceleration
any more then 1/8 depression of the pedal will cause it to shutter reely bad and nearly stall
its an auto with a carbouretor
and when it warms up it runs faultlessly and is quite nippy
this is a problem only because the car is only driven short distances less then 10-15 minute drives

is it plausible that the carb gasket is leaking causing there to be loss of vaccum and a bad mixture, when the manifold warms it swells and closes the gap?
Or does this point towards a choke issue?
(auto choke)

as always help is greatly appreciated
thanks
jason

this is info from my gregorys book.
Your 73 is a japan built 120y with jap dif and brakes.
And your 77 is australian built with borg warner dif and aus PBR brake parts
Your brake master cylinder is also diferent?

( sedan models in australia made after june 1976 are assembled in australia and some parts are diferent )

Hope this information is somehow helpful.
