Yep youve got it, the sender is basicly just a hollow brass (or copper?) tube with a capped end and a couple wires inside with a nut sweated onto the outside. When i tried to remove it the nut came away from the tube and screwed out leaving the empty tube stuck in the head. Will load some pics soon,
cheers
joel

I thort about using one of those "easy-out" things,
The bit that is stuck is not threaded and its quite thin, It would probly jst force it to expand outwards and jam up and/or tear it and make it leak.

Ive got the same problem, I have also tried vice grips and crc. Its a tricky spot to get to with vice grips, but when i did get a good grip on the end part of it that was sticking out it tore away leaving the rest behind and somewhat unreachable. I did manage to get the nut part of it back on though though, then I just ended up buing a new temp gauge and a temp sender adaptor that fits into the top radiator hose.

Hahah Shoota, yeah, "nearly". Id love to have the spare cash to buy that kit from 09 Racing. http://09racingshop.cart.fc2.com/ca2/21/p-r-s/

That Hakotora is my absolute favourite.
It was dubbed "hakotora" as a play on "Sanitora",which roughly translates to "sunny-truck", and “Hakosuka” which is "Box-skyline", the name given to the KPGC10 skyline.
And GB-R as in GB122 and GT-R skyline.

Ive been keeping an eye on this site for a while now, Its got alot of good info and cool builds. I was especially interested in Smurfs Evo powered ute build, that guy was an absolute artist. Best build thread ever, a damn shame it was abandoned and pics removed, it contained such a wealth of info in the pictures alone.

Hey all, This is my 1st post here.
My name is Joel, Im from Christchurch New Zealand.
These are some pics of my Jap import 1990 Sunny Truck.
It was originally running the standard A12 and 4 speed.
I have installed a worked A15 and 5 speed.
The A15 has been balanced and blue printed, it has a mild cam and is running a heavily modified A12 carb, flows, its planed for extra compression etc, And gilmer kit.
Body work includes deleted rear window bars, rear corner bumpers, side mirrors, tray hooks and tarp clips.
