When I locked my dizzy, I boosted in 4th gear up a steep hill, and kept advancing the timing until it started to rattle. I found that the amount of timing that made the engine a reluctant starter, was also a just a wee bit too much.

Does anyone have a picture of a fuel pump for a mid dizzy A12? I need one for a motor I have here. I've got a few pumps in my spares. But god only knows which is which.
I'm sure there's some pics here somewhere, but I don't have the spare time to hunt through the masses of pictures.

I work with a Yarpy who moved here in '06.
Sounds like a nice place. It would have been paradise before it went to the pack.

I'm getting out of my 1200. Despite being pretty rapid, it's a haggard old dog. So I'm returning it to standard, and selling the goodies separately. I want to recoup max $$$, to reinvest in my 510. (That is going to be even faster, and supercharged too)
So What's fair market value for a 63A dogleg 5 speed? Mine had new bearings a while ago. But due to a severely shagged spigot bush, the front bearing is toast again. They're only like $30, so I'll likely replace that. It also has a nasty habit of jumping out of second under full throttle. (Which is a total pain in the jacksie when doing grasskhanas/gynkhanas and need both hands on the wheel. I'm pretty sure (From what the experts tell me) it's due to too much end float on that gear. it was doing it before the last overhaul, and a number of parts were substituted from a very low kms 63 four speed. (a nissan parts book said the part numbers were the same)

So that's the story. How much is it worth? One bloke offered me $800 for it tonight. And he's local. So no hassles with freight. But i'll send it anywhere to get the best price.
