Yeah I know I used to frequent this site all the time but then life got in the way and I spent too much money on Dattos over the years but it was always good fun. I even had a Datsun 1600 at one stage but I much prefer the 1200's.
Maybe one day I'll get given one again so I can go back into doing it up :(

This site was always great for info on 1200's and so many knowlwedgable people on here as well

I have a few parts I've had kept away and wanting to free up space.
I have : rear glass for a ute with rubber in great condition.
Hester box x 2 (one seems to be from a ute and the other a Coupe possibly)
Accelerator cable
Clutch cable
Ute front Cowl vents (they sit between where the wiper blades come out and the bonnet)
Ute rear plastic vents
Bonnet hinges
A set of seat rails

Email me for Pics etc dleggatt84@gmail.com or 0420966202 for txt or call etc
No prices I'll let you
Offer prices to me and we can go from there
Cheers Damian

would these be easy to get made?
They are just a piece of aluminium with print on them.
If we had someone that could make them then we could do a group buy just for that personalised touch

The way I would set this up is
+ve wire to the +ve terminal on the Coil
-ve wire to the negative of the coil
Wire from points. Would be the old -ve wire that went to the coil. Remember this box is now triggering your coil so you will have to remove the link in your old system otherwise the system just bypasses your new box and runs the standard system.

The trigger from the coil (the old negative wire) is now to goto the hi ignition box as it's now telling the box when to fire in which case it sends the signal down to the coil to fire.

I hope I have shed some light on this.
cheeers

Coils aren't always as simple as you think. You have to get the ones suited to your setup and ECU, some coils require resistors some have built in dwell controllers which for the likes of microtechs etc they don't work with them. I would go with the Bosch HEC715 I beilieve they are.
Have a quick look into them as it may save you some headaches down the track.

Cheers
