Hi Guys How do you get a standard ute to handle on a racetrack ? Mine has king springs with escort inserts front and standard rear springs. It has initial turn in oversteer and then is reasonably neutral but lacks grip. How much difference will lowering 30mm make?I have a topgear LSD going in shortly and wonder what this will do to the handling Cheers Bob

Georges 120Y was owned by Jamie Drummond (ex nissan suspension guru, now Drummond motor sport or DMS). To the best of my knowledge it was built specifically for George to win The Alpine Rally. It was an absolute work of art because of Jamies and Georges attention to detail.Saw these guys change a clunky rear end in under 10 minutes at a roadside service which meant pulling complete rear end out, replacing rear end ,bleeding brakes etc. This was done at 10 at night in the dark. The old diff was rebuilt that night and back in Bright 6 am next dayas the spare. While we are on the topic of legends whatever happened to Murray Cootes mid engined 1200 coupe ?

Hi Guys Am looking for a twin carb manifold to suit A15. If someone has one sitting under the bench which is excess to requirements PM me and we might be able to do a deal.(would prefer redline)
Also may be interested in a worked oval port head matched to manifold
Thanks Bob

How do you keep lowered springs in position when heavy cornering will let the lowered spring flop around ? Cheers Bob

Just took up a set of dirty old hot wires to the local truck wash . They have some heavy duty chemicals that you can't get over the counter. They cleaned up up great and a bit of polish and they will be almost as good as new
