Hey, Mareo
I wish I had gotten to see that race. My wife and I drive to Tennessee every May-June to visit her family in Nashville.(My wife and I live in California.) Too bad I missed the race.I
dont suppose there will happen to be another 1200 race in June? Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Where do you guys find replacement windshields for your 1200 coupes?I have tried all the glass
shops in town but no luck. I even have the Nissan dealer making a few calls to see if he can find one.

I got my 1973 1200 coupe June 24,2000. The previous owner had set up the car for a racing look minus the motor, tranny, upholstery which he had discarded. The tranny tunnel had been cut
for a mazda rotary engine that the mate never got around to installing. All the body parts were there and the dashboard was still intact. In the past year have I stripped a 1975 B-210
and switched all the suspension parts including the A-14 crossmember to accept the A-14 emotor and tranny in my 1200.I fixed the trans tunnel with mesh wire and fiberglas. I had to make
a new transmission mount from a "L"beam which I bolted to the body floor. To see the pictures, go to the Links page and click on SMJ's 1200 coupe.

I agree with you, Mareospeedwagon. I am restoring my 1973 1200 coupe body, no matter how well I do the body filler work, it still looks like crap when viewed under the first primer coat. I
am planning to buy another gallon of white Epoxy primer (costs about $48.00 a quart) and keep recoating and fine sanding until the "wrinkles" (Mostly on the hood and front fenders)are
almost non-existant before I put the 1989 Nissan brght red urethane enamel on it. I ve been on and off this board for about a year, but havent been participating as much as I have been
reading the messages.

I m looking for a website or place that i can order a new rubber windsheild gasket for my 1973 1200. The auto glass places around here looked at me like I was crazy when i told
them what i needed. Does anyone know where i csn get rubber parts for the 1200? I live in the states, but i m
willing to order from overseas if thats what it takes.
Thanks
Steve (SMJ)

I have an A-14 in my 1200 from a B-210. Recently
it quit running( starts up briefly and dies. The Hitachi carb sight glass indicates the float bowl is full but somehow the gas isnt getting to the engine. I know, because when i squirt
gas down the carb throat it does fire up. I m fed up with this crappy Hitachi and rather than trying to "rebuild "it again I was wondering if u guys had any suggestions what may be wrong
with it or better yet if u hsve any used Weber carb and mnifolds for sale. E-mail me if u have anything.
Thanks
Steve

I got hold of a 1200 coupe a few weeks ago, minus the engine and tranny. Since then I have gotten a a-14 motor and tranny from a b-210 at the local wreckers. (no luck finding a 1200
in the junkyard).I have a b-210 driveshaft to go with the b-210 trannty but the yoke on the 210 driveshaft is too big to fit on the 1200 differential. I wondering if any of u guys had
anything like this that you could sell me? Thanks
Steve
P.s. I also need a 1200 gas tank. couldnt find one at the wreckers either. I m located in the southern California area.

I just put an a-14 motor and tranny in my 1200 coupe, But the a-14 driveshaft rear joint wont fit the 1200 diff! I dont have a 1200 driveshaft rear joint to add to the a-14
dhaft, so I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if you have any spare 1200 driveshaft joints? Thanks
