sorry about the confusion, it gets hard sometimes to do 2 things at the same time; here is the question:
are the cam bearings on the a14 engine the same as the ones for the a15 ?

Hello there, I came across a guy that is selling a set of cam bearings for an a 14 engine, he's telling me the cam bearings for the a15 are diferent than the ones for the a15 , Is this true? I'm looking for a set for my a15 that i'm rebuilding at this moment.

no,didn't win, thanks for your kindness,i.ve been in the same situation before. After so many projects and a busy family man life finally went back to work in my datsuns,i'm getting every part together so i guess that in a couple of months one of them will be on the road in a brand new condition.

There are a couple of classes were the datsun 1200 qualify, i guess it all depends on the amount of money you want to sink on it( the ITC class will be the cheapest one),also you may want to take in consideration the level of competence and the fun factor of the diferente clasess. You should get in contact with Peter Zekert he has been racing 1200's for a while and i'm pretty sure he has a lot of advice and experiences racing 1200's.

Hey Tim,you don't have to go that far for roller rockers,Malvern racing have aluminum tipped custom roller rockers for datsun engines from a12 thru a15 in 4
diferent ratios, they are pretty expensive do.
