Stiffer Engine Mounts

Hey guys, I run my car pretty hard on private roads and I am assuming this has put a lot of load on the little A12 causing it to split engine mounts.
I'm on my third passenger mount and about to replace the drivers (metal plate has sheared from the rubber insulater). This could be down to crappy reproduction mounts but it seems weird that it would constantly do it over and over.

I've had a quick look in the techwiki but couldn't find anything except for a mention of Jaguar mounts with no part number.

I'm searching for a place that has poly (?) mounts for the engine but hoping I won't have to pay through the nose for them. A few people have recommended going solid mounts but I feel like that will put too much strain on the block/gearbox and start putting pressure cracks everywhere.

Open for advice or suggestions on this matter, one of the reasons I'm still on this site.

Thanks in advance, Jacob.

I'm running 14x7j 0 on the rear on standard diff, sits just outside the wheel arch. Nothing a quick guard roll couldn't fix.

My first Pulsar rad had those outlets, I just crimped and bend them down so they didn't protrude.

Second rad didn't have them at all so that was easy.

I think they may be for either power-steering or auto-trans cooling, so try and find a pulsar without those for the good radiator.

Weird, not 6 months ago I was parked up with this ute outside a Red Rooster in Brisbane!
Didn't even know he sold it.

Probably orange peel.
Need to wet sand it with 2000 and 3000 grit sand paper.
Then polish etc.

That's basically what I've been told to do with mine, I'm sure a qualified painter will give you more details on the process.

In the grand scheme of things, shaving the mount down a moving the alt. back is nothing.
Worst case scenario, when you take the gilmer off, just buy another alt. mount for like what, $10, that's what I paid for my last one.
